Soroptimist membership celebrates the unique power of women. It's a gift that women give to themselves: the
chance to experience friendship and fun.

We hope you have fun exploring our website, learning more about the Soroptimist outlook, how we choose our
programs of service and what successes we enjoy.

We empower the Soroptimist dream by fundraising to further our mission to provide women and girls access to the
education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment!
Locally in our home town we are supporting the young women at Juvenile Hall; giving awards and scholarships to young
women and students; sewing blankets for Children's Family Services; sponsoring the Martinez Chamber's Woman of the
Year award; planning and assisting Dream It Be It's Get Real Academy; and, participating with Kiwanis serving breakfast
for Relay for Life.
We're looking forward to a busy and productive year! We hope you can join us at one of our meetings and decide if
Soroptimist membership is the right choice for you!
No matter where you are located, there is probably a Soroptimist club nearby. We are an international group and carry
NGO status at the United Nations. We hope to see you soon!
